Leila Kaneda

Professional percussionist and educator with a specialization in marimba (and mallet percussion).

I’ve trained with incredible mentors while spending nearly two decades passing that knowledge on to the next generation of musicians. In my teaching, I focus on building solid foundations while helping students discover the styles and sounds that inspire them most.

30 Minute Private Lessons - $45

Only offered on a case-by-case basis with prior consent from the instructor. Perfect for those looking for more focused, efficient sessions to refine their craft.

60 Minute Private Lessons - $75

Our recommended starting point for private percussion lessons! Weekly 60-minute sessions focus on building a strong foundation in music theory, sight reading, and percussion technique, all while exploring each student’s individual musical interests. Consistent weekly study at this level supports the most effective and lasting musical growth.
